Muscular Dystrophy Patient Day - Sat 21st April 2018

Muscular Dystrophy UK is running a free information day in Cambridge on Saturday 21st April for people affected by mitochondrial disease and other muscle-wasting conditions.

The day will be a great opportunity to meet other people living with mitochondrial myopathy as well as to ask the experts any questions.

There will be presentations from various specialists in the mitochondrial field:
Dr Grainne Gorman – Activity and exercise
Prof Rita Horvath – Clinical presentations and novel approaches for therapy in mitochondrial disease
Dr Robert Pitceathly – Current treatments for mitochondrial disease
Prof Robert McFarland – Prevention of mitochondrial disease
Registration and coffee will start at 9am and the day will finish at 4.30pm. The venue is accessible and parking is available.
