
Dacil Gonzalez
Dacil is the new Welfare Officer for the Mitochondrial team. After completing a law degree, Dacil has worked for local Citizens Advice since 2006. Initially, she worked as a housing caseworker for Rushmoor Citizens Advice. Later, she delivered a casework service at Probation in Staines until she moved into a supervisory role with Runnymede Citizens Advice. She left Runnymede Citizens Advice in 2018 after obtaining a Masters in Social Work at Oxford Brookes University. After working as a Social Worker for a local authority, she moved back to Citizens Advice Oxford in early 2020 to work at the Churchill Hospital as a Macmillan Welfare Benefits adviser for cancer patients. Dacil started working with the mitochondrial team in September 2022.
